AIMS Canada: AIMS Linked In Group - Would You Like to Join?

It has taken awhile but I finally have the AIMS Linked In Group up and running. (Thanks to volunteers Mish and Eden for making the suggestion weeks ago!).

What is the AIMS Linked In Group? It's a way of showing you're an AIMS member on your Linked In profile. If you join the group the AIMS logo will be displayed on your profile.

If you would like to join the group please send your first name, last name, and email address to Liz hosein, lizhosein (at) hotmail (dot) com. Please put 'AIMS Linked In Group' in the subject line.

A big shout out to Liz for volunteering to coordinate the AIMS Linked In Group!

It's a fairly lengthy process as we have to get everyone's information, enter it into a spreadsheet, and upload it to Linked In. Please be patient and give us a couple of weeks once you've sent your info to Liz.

Once we've uploaded the pre-approved list to Linked In you'll receive an email with a link that you need to click in order to join.

If you have any questions or would like to read more about Linked In groups I suggest reading the FAQ as it does an excellent job of what it's all about.

If you've read this far and are still wondering 'What the heck is Linked In' I suggest you check it out at www.linkedin.com. Also a great article in the December issue of Business Week about the value of Linked In for business people. (Doesn't look like the story is posted online)
